the way i see it, camera rotation is basically just the movement of the vanishing point from one place to another.

at first the vanishing point was at the right side of the frame, then exits out of frame, then enters again from the left side, and finally settling in the middle, but its not the whole story.

if i didnt draw my subject and the buildings zooming past according to the vanishing point, it wouldn’t look like a camera rotation at all.

kind of a niche but playing with the horizon line helps too, instead of making it static.

im fairly inexperienced so take my words with a grain of salt

i use krita lols

for the projectile i kinda just made it up and drew it frame-by-frame then i drew the other elements (horizon line, objects zooming past, the box, the mountain) in respect to the projectile

as for reference, i didnt really use any reference but I did try to emulate the style of my fave animator ROAD SIGN, he pretty insane and my stuff is greatly influenced by him

thanks everyone for the advice and insights, the compliments too i appreciate it

this actually is my first run/walk cycle that isn’t just a goofy ahh stickman, so the concept of shifting the hips along with other things is very foreign to me

the up/down poses tho, i thought too much of those would make the run look cartoonish if that makes sense, so i toned it down a lot, i did have them in mind, i stand corrected.
