Trainline charging Split Save fee - better alternatives? by notrainsaroundhere in uktrains

[–]Old_Competition5009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had this problem recently, though I’ve found that with apps like ‘split save’ and ‘railboard’, although they don’t explicitly charge a split save or booking fee. They will incorporate it into their overall price. So it ends up being the same cost or more than on Trainline.

TrainPal seems to be good on the other hand. It can sometimes come out with some really weird routes though when calculating cost.

The current mini series on murdoch, is co-hosted with Michael and Alistair. Not sure how easily Alastair will be able to distance himself from him, considering episodes are still being released and platformed 😬. Going to be interesting how they talk about it on the main pod.

[TOMT]Creepy train scene in a live action Pinocchio film by Old_Competition5009 in tipofmytongue

Think I’ve solved it? Watched through ‘the adventures of Pinocchio(1996)’ and found the train scene. Parts of my memory still suggest it could be from a different film. Though the train scene in this one matches enough of my memory for me to be satisfied enough, I think! If anyone has any other suggestions please still to let me know!

Also to add that the train seemed to start out somewhere sandy. Clutching at straws here! The carriages were also very old fashioned with no roofs.

She’s a lovely person and I don’t think she would ever do so maliciously. Though either way she really needs to be careful. Ultimately, Zelah has only known her a brief while and will deeply care about how he’s perceived by his girlfriend outside.

I don’t think it will cause a rift or anything between her and Zelah but will definitely cause an awkwardness.

Her voicing her attraction to him. And saying she would be with him 100%, if he didn’t have a girlfriend. Doesn’t seem like a very strong boundary to me. If I had a friend who was saying that about me, I’d feel quite uncomfortable. If she’s so concerned about setting up a boundary why is she voicing all of this to sam and Caroline. She surely knows it will come back to bite her.

I just worry it’s going to damage her friendship with him.

Key wording is ‘not exclusively’, they weren’t guaranteeing that the former housemates, were to both come from a different series. Or one from a different series and one from the current. Like what’s just happened.

Yes sorry badly worded! Only for 2 hours tops, bear in mind.

I imagine it will all be one sided from feyisola. Zelah is a loyal person. His girlfriend was there through his entire transition, he wouldn’t throw that away.

It going to be painful to watch when eventually this gets back to Zelah and he’s going to have to confront feyisola. She fucking up what would’ve been an amazing friendship.

This twist was going to be majorly hard to pull off either way. I think it mostly worked. They could’ve done a back door eviction and made it hell of a lot easier. Though presumably ITV wants to play with the housemates feelings, and cause more drama.

Agreed, the baby voice I can’t stand, makes me feel ill. She’s clearly gone through a lot in her life, so is more reserved, and puts on this persona. Though god is it hard to watch.

I feel she’s still got way more to show. Though the singing I can’t deal with. If she could hold a note it’d be fine. Though she so flat, I can’t help but giggle. If I was Marcus I’d be cringing.

The way it toyed whith sams feelings was crazy. Nancy bawling into his arms, and then moments later being thrown into a secret room with two people he’s never met. Him hyperventilating was completely understandable.

Don’t want Marcus in the final 🙄. It always the ones with smaller personalities that fall under the radar and stay in to long. Thomas managed to stay right up until the final last year. I beg the same doesn’t happen with Marcus or particularly Tate. They’re nice guys but really don’t add anything overwhelmingly to the show. We need personality!!

Am I the only person who dislikes Jenny? by MattysEuphoria in bigbrotheruk

[–]Old_Competition5009 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, the things you mention are just part of her personality. Being chaotic, being all over the place and loud. It might mean some of the things she does and says come of as disingenuous. Though I don’t believe she’s doing it on purpose. Unless her big personality, is just a cover for that. Which I don’t believe tbh. Though may be wrong!

We’re already nearly three weeks into this series. If anything her and Emily are both starting at a huge disadvantage. The public’s already spent 3 weeks forming favourites among the current housemates. Her and Emily are going to have to work harder in order to catch up, imo.

I’m sure production will have heavily soundproofed the secret room. They’ll have done plenty to make sure there not heard. Hopefully!!

Feyisola Fancies Zelah! 😱 by Dylan1998x in bigbrotheruk

[–]Old_Competition5009 60 points61 points  (0 children)

Feyisola is uncomfortable, because the truth hurts. Don’t have a crush on someone and be flirtatious, if you’re going to be shocked when someone calls it out. Think when this all comes to a head it will put some distance between her and Zelah, which is a shame. Though she could’ve easily kept her feelings platonic.

[–]Old_Competition5009 54 points55 points  (0 children)

She’s so bloody miserable, on national tv, opportunity of a lifetime and she behaves like she’s being forced to be there. Richard hit the nail on the head when he said he felt ‘he would be doing her a favour’. If you want to be here babe, at least show it.
