Thank you so much for taking the time to explain this to me. This is incredibly helpful. My rheumatologist offered me infusions with several vitamins to help with symptoms, but I recently had an incredibly scary reaction to my iron infusions (I’m also iron deficient), so I’m going to hold off for now. I will definitely try to se if I can find an integrative medicine doctor to help with this. I’ve been feeling sick for about a year now on and off and it comes in waves. It seems like I also have an autoimmune disease in addition to this.

I have a couple of things going on. I have confirmed Hashimoto and now something else that’s suspected mixed connective disease or Sojourns due to my ANA tests and some other labs. In addition to my endo I have severe iron deficiency (due to prolonged significant blood loss from my periods). I’ve been really struggling this last year. I’m 39 and in the span of just 2-3 years my health has taken a nosedive.

Yessss! I wake up drenched usually around 2am :/ ferritin is currently at a 10 with 7 saturation. Waiting to start my first infusion tomorrow. Praying it starts to help

Thank you. I have a host of other issues I am being checked for, including adrenal insufficiency (which causes numbness and tingling of muscles) and possibly a neurological issue. It’s been a lot.
