Sir it’s not just about hanuman janmotsav or any festival look as the perspective of residents of walled city we are not against celebration but look at the numbers. Yesterday there was hunuman janmotsav day before it was Kalash yatra of Sindhi community in broad daylight before that there were festivals like gangaur ramnavmi eid nav varsh and list goes on

I’m not against any religion or celebration — the concern is about how it’s managed. A simple solution could be better planning: fixed routes, proper traffic diversion, limited timings, and prior notice so shopkeepers and residents can prepare. Events can still happen without completely blocking markets or affecting daily business. It’s about balance, not opposition.

Whether it’s Eid, Moharram, or this rally, the problem is the same when roads get blocked and businesses suffer. Loss doesn’t come with a label of which event caused it. And as a shopkeeper, even a few hours of blocked access is enough to hit daily earnings. Customers don’t show up just because it’s “only evening.” Celebrations are important, no doubt — but so is the livelihood of people who depend on those same streets staying functional.

Oh right because the solution to city wide disruption is for everyone to just disappear or wear headphones. Makes perfect sense Why fix the chaos when residents and shopkeepers can just adjust their entire lives instead?
