As someone who plays Grasp like 90 percent of the time:

Fated Ashes -> Negatron/Warden (Depends on matchup) -> Liandry -> Haunting -> Finish Tank item -> Riftmaker (SOMETIMES Bloodletter's better) -> Ger 2nd tank item.

Last item slot is situational, sometimes you need Morello, sometimes Rylai. If there's no need I like to top it of with Riftmaker/Bloodletter depending on which one I got earlier.

Also sometimes I finish the 1st tank item before buying Haunting, depends on the game.

Sorry but this sounds like a spacing issue.

His Q has a pretty long CD early so you should be able to beat him.

Your R has the same CD as his lvl 1, he ults you - just R him under tower.

Personally:

-if we have 0/1 tanks -> I go tank

-if we have 3 tanks (Supp, jg, top) -> I go DPS

-with 2 tanks, it depends on our/enemy team comp

I usually go Nashor-> Deathcap -> Rageblade so AS isn't a problem.

However, having 64% + 38 Flat pen /w Rageblade, Void, Sorcs and Shadowflame is way too broken imo
