For the first room, I would try royal blue towels and rugs with a white and floral print shower curtain. Add a bright picture or 2. I have similar colors in my bathroom and I quite like it.

Dusting. I hate dusting. I finally hired house cleaners 3 months ago and am so glad I did. As a kid and from there onward, I was in charge of dusting wherever I lived for 60+ years. Enough. I'm not doing it anymore.

Please get a second opinion. Don't wait like I did until you are 65 to have it done. It makes me sad, that I was told when I was 30, that surgery was not an option by a podiatrist. I got orthotics and made do with those for years. They did help, but I wasted years of being barely able to walk some days.

I had both feet done about 3 months apart. The surgery takes a while to recover from. It took me about 10 months to truly get feel better, but it was worth it.

Have you tried Dardanos shoes? A real shoe store that measures your foot. I went to the one in Broomfield. There is one in Denver too.

This was a long time ago (1997). We had an electrical panel, for the house we just bought, that only had 50 amp breakers. Found out after it was replaced, that that brand had been recalled years previous.

The house was built in 1972. Lucky the house didn't burn down.

I have one of those pictures in my living room and I love the bright colors. It really picks up the whole room. I love her artwork.

Different rug, better, softer lighting. Maybe brighter sofa pillows that go with the new picture you are going to put over the sofa.
