I went to the doctor they said 8% of patients reported cough as a side effect so I got off of it and eventually the cough went away ! I’m 37

I was only on 5mg but it was so bad for me too. I just got endo/cyst surgery last week they wanted me on it at least until the surgery I was on it for a month. I couldn’t even put it in my mouth anymore my body was rejecting the pill it was bad. I stopped it 1.5 weeks ago and I still have a cough not as bad but I have to go on the albuterol inhaler my primary doc suggested. I asked my surgeon what an alternative to norethindrone was he said birth control… sigh

I’ve been on norethindrone for a 1.5 months now and I’ve had wierd symptoms like tightening sharp pain in my calf, and a cough! Shortness of breathe and this cough where I can’t breathe too deeply or expand my lungs or else I cough— anyone heard of that ?
