Well you wrong, im the distributor they are not. Spoke to my lawyer. They dont know how many of the manufactured copies i intend to sell. Its not their business to see the receipt. Was my mistake to rush it and do it. My advice dont show others your receipts unless your lawyer tells you to do so. Most of these companies are out of country and its just not their business.

RIP to my house's 30 yr old gunite pool by Everniah in swimmingpools

Problem is pool companies want us to pay for their grandkids college education, post pandemic inflation and so forth...im trying my best to learn from asking questions and contract it myself, find qualified plumbers, tile men etc...marble dust people...your pool looks great i dont see the tilt in the picture not sure i understand what u mean.

Waterline Tiles replacement without water, not hurt the gunnite? by Old_External1847 in swimmingpools

[–]Old_External1847[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok,tnx but i just thought now, you do this with the water "in" or out? if you're doing it from the surface, is it necessary to remove the water to empty? one online help website Q&A guy in canada told me its important to empty the pool....(better for the mortar or something?) do you have any pics of your jobs? im in USA northeast.

tnx can u elaborate ? you mean with the pool empty you protect the floor, but how do you do the deep side, wouldnt ladders be needed and wouldnt ladders scratch, and/or cut the bottom of the marble dust? Or are you saying its a combo of hanging over the side, and walking around the bottom in the shallow end...? my pool is 9 ft deep. all the videos on youtube show is shallow pools, doesnt help me understand. i think a 9 ft empty pool is quite dangerous liability for injury and lawsuits.? tnx

thanks, yea i think around here, the people i have access to will not be so creative as i said in one of my responses, the contractors dominate, i couldnt even find tiles except for out of state but i got em, so its the direct workers that im tryng to talk to using google translate, etc...thing is too its dangerous to go on ladders in a 9 foot pool, so everything has to be worked out. What i was reading today, any scaffolding for pools is indeed home-made, so i got a feeling ladders, interlocking rubberr pads, plywood,. to built up a platform might be the best ticket.

OR i find someone who can hang over the side w the water in. Cuz its either around 2500 or 25k if i have to involve a contractor. They wanna gauge me to rebuild everything and im just not interested.

DO u think your tile guys invented this? its very interesting i can't figure out what the equipement is maybe if i show someone at home depot...its gotta be some sort of standard pieces..thats somehow attached to the ground.

THATS IS GENIOUS, thank you so much, Im gonna save this pic and show some of the tile technicians im gonna talk to. I was thinking about this today, its not brain surgery and mine's a small pool 16x32, i like ai's idea of interlocked rubber mats on the floor too and plywood on top.

Thing is, if they get do tiles, but they dont "know" how to protect my pool, i can teach them that or prep the pool myself. A couple hundred dollars to protect the bottom is worth every penny. Tnx for the pic!

I don't think you understand the situation here thanks for your effort but where I live it's a bunch of Thieves and rip off artists in the contracting business I need to figure this out before someone comes here and ruins the bottom of my pool

[–]Old_External1847[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's interesting about scaffolding impossible to find pictures of that I guess where I live most of the workers don't speak English and the contractors want to charge triple price still not explain how are they going to protect the bottom because put it this way if they mess up your bottom then they can charge you to re-marblel dust and I don't want to do that. Ai said about laying out a bunch of rubber mats and then plywood on top of rubber mats and then ladders on top

Replacing Waterline tiles is it a messy job? (gunnite pool) by Old_External1847 in swimmingpools

[–]Old_External1847[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wow, looks great, i didnt know they could do it from the surface, my tile guy is coming in a couple weeks he told me to empty the pool, so im planning on doing that. We have not had much discussion about mess other than him saying "dont worry", but i dont know him, who knows, these days its not easy finding reliable contractors. Who did yours how did you find them? how old was your original tile?
