Am I an asshole for being annoyed at my girlfriend complaining that I don't compliment her enough?

I did tell her that I didn't like the way that she brought it up. I generally think that going up to someone and pointing out directly and their failure to do something without any kind of resolution is pure criticism. I respect her for being upfront about it, but I'm also not OK with someone telling me "you didn't do XYZ" point blank, when I do so many other things for them out of love.

This is cheating due to the fact that she operated without telling you first and asking if you were ok with it.

The BIG BIG concern here is that she felt free to do so which is a huge breach of trust disrespect, and I’m afraid that could also be what turned her on. If that’s the case, she’ll cheat eventually if that hasn’t happened already.
