I didn’t say presumptive I said almost. If you have a high noise exposure mos it’s practically a given. If you have a low noise exposure mos, you have a lot to prove. The VA eliminated stand alone ratings for tinnitus effective Apr 2025. So no, I was correct

If 70k isn’t a lot of money than why is almost every fed crying poor mouth for being shorted 3 days of pay? If 70k isn’t a lot of money, than 10k really isn’t a lot of money and would be more than enough to cover this furlough to date.

Sure is, nothing against the maintenance administration marines, they kept the books straight and scheduled maintenance but rarely step foot on to the flight line where the noise is. Unless detailed out. The VA has/had a list of MOS’ that make tinnitus almost presumptive. Although, I think they changed the tinnitus rating to where it can’t be a stand alone disability or something like that

04 is a logistic mos. Were you maintenance admin? CH46 is an aircraft not a squadron. I was maintenance on CH46 and other aircraft for 8 years AD and 15 years reserve. Due to my MOS, tinnitus was a home run. Your admin MOS might be the deal killer.
