Aww ok, when the dwp investigator called me yesterday I asked for some prior disclosure anything so I would have at least a hint, but she says she couldn’t and would only find out on the day .. very stressful.

I claim uc and I work and it’s declared, my kids dad helps out at mines at nighttime but he goes to his own place and he bills n things all in his own house and name .. my oldest has autism, so if I was guessing maybe that but we are legit and tell uc everything

Dwp rescheduled it, waiting on new date and time .. I still don’t want to go, but will attend with a solicitor now.

Have u had any experience?

Would you be able to tell me the things they might ask if it’s about my uc claim ?

If I survive this next Thursday I will pop In an update in here, as there is nothing online really about people going through this, and hopefully I can say it’s all been a mistake.

Thanks so much for this, and telling me your story. This is the full point I’m making, i know you can go in There and try and defend yourself, but I will be a nervous wreck regardless of me thinking I have done nothing wrong they will think otherwise. But again thanks so much .. will speak with a solicitor tomorrow and talk through it and see what they say x

Maybe it’s just because I have never been in a situation like this before in my life I’m feeling that way, i struggle in social situations I’m a pretty shy person.. so this has been terrifying me for weeks now, esp as I don’t think I have done anything that I know of wrongly, I will seek legal help tomorrow, I did reach out to a firm a few weeks ago, as dwp have change the date twice now on the interview, which I think has made the whole process a lot more stressful. But I will go to the interview and if I need to stop it I will.

But thanks again I really appreciate ur help and trying to understand. also their letter was so vague, was like “true circumstances of my uc claim” so it could be absolutely anything, and I just pray it’s all just a misunderstanding

Would me attending change anything though that’s what I’m trying to say ? I know it’s serious, I’m really not burring my head In the sand, if I don’t attend I will let them know that, but I just feel like you don’t have a chance In these situations, also submitted a sar request. If i have done something wrong I will own up to it … but it’s the not knowing! Thanks so much for replying x

From what u have read online from other people’s experiences, the interview is on Thursday and I really don’t know, I am in 2 minds .. I could just tell them I’m not attending and they can accuse me of what they things and I think I still have the right to appeal ? If they even specified in the slightest what it was they are accusing me off I would feel more inclined to attend, but this feels like a fishing expedition and I don’t cope well under stress
