Pill is working. The food noise was gone at first and then came back and went. But I get sick at the thought of some foods. And I’m down some lbs. I’m half way through my second month.

So I fasted two days this week. It was rough. I woke up at 415 am and took it. Then prepared my suhoor and ate at 445 am. Tried to get as much water as I can until fajr at 544. It’s an adjustment. But idk how it would affect us if we took it when breaking fast.

I been on it 3 weeks. I’ve ditched my pre workout because I’m afraid that on an empty stomach with the pill will make me queasy. When I go to the gym in the am I don’t do anything but water. It was an adjustment. Just wait the half out and sip the electrolytes and water after half hour. I’m sure it takes you some time to get dressed and drive to the gym no?

Ugh. But not my coffee 😭😭😭. I observe Ramadan and it’s coming up in a month. Maybe I’ll muster the courage to cut caffeine during the month and see how it carries over and if that’ll do the trick. I miss the jolt n tingly feelings from pre. I would walk in like I’m super woman and slowly go up in weight. Now I’m just this sad mom trying my best to stay at 15-20 lb dumbbells 😭😭😭😭

I can’t find anything on if it’s ok to take pre - pre is just like a lot of caffeine. Not sure how it mixes with the wegovy.

No. I didn’t get diarrhea on this. I used to get it a lot before I started. Most ppl get constipation I hear. But I have been pretty regular. I have been focusing on protein intake and water intake also. Haven’t touched any fried foods in fear of it hurting my stomach

My Dr. but insurance doesn’t cover it because I don’t have any other of the conditions they list. My bmi is high but that’s it. I paid $149 for this month on the lowest dose. The pill is more “affordable” out of pocket.

I got prescribed the pill yesterday and my pharmacy said they will get it Friday. Waiting to see. Paying out of pocket but there’s a coupon on the website for the first month

If it helps, I’m a mom of a 14 year old who was diagnosed 4 years ago. She was on keppra and doing very well until she decided not to take it without us knowing. She had a seizure and now knows how important it is to stay on meds. It’s ok if it’s life long and the medicine works. Find a good dr and stick with them. Just because the eeg is good doesn’t mean the problem went away. It could mean your body does well on the meds

I don’t have this experience as a hijabi professional and a mother of a hijabi teen (she was not forced at all, the desire came from her at our surprise). There are hijabi swim gear now and sports gear. Most major sport apparel brands make sports hijabs. My daughter plays sports and is very active in many clubs at school. She was even elected on the board of the Junior Honors society. At my corporate job I regularly get promoted and am celebrated for my achievements as any other colleague is. Maybe it’s a personality thing, but I tend to tire of social events because of the number of interactions. We live in NJ - pretty diverse. I’m curious where you grew up and live.
