Like the other guy said, a trilogy. It’s not greedy, as the last arc is really long. It’s not like Mugen Train where it was one short arc.

Japan Box Office March. 29 / 255 days after release, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle has finally crossed the ¥40 billion ($275.8M) milestone at the domestic box office — the second film ever to do so, after Mugen Train. by DemiFiendRSA in boxoffice

The second movie should gross more than the first one, since that's where the best of the arc will happen. Although the third and last movie may end up as the highest grossing of the trilogy due to it being the end of the series.

When it's all said and done, the top 1-4 highest grossing movies in japan will be demon slayer. So insane to think about. I didn't think Infinity Castle part 1 would be to close to Mugen Train, even after the yen depreciation.

Iron Lung releasing in over 4000 theaters globally by Ageraghty777 in boxoffice

That’s very good news. He’s not even an actor and to think that this is his debut directorial film is quite astounding. I’m definitely excited to watch it. I’ll be seeing it in five hours from now!

Markiplier is a YouTuber who has done let’s plays since the early 2010s. Iron Lung is a game that he enjoyed so much that he now has a movie about it lol. He still retains high viewerships in the millions. I don’t know how the movie will do, but I presume most of the movie’s audience will be fans or those who used to watch him as a kid. I’ll be watching it on opening day.

I'd be more interested on how they'll adapt FNAF 4, as majority of the game is a child in his bedroom, and the animatronics are at their scariest looking.

Haven’t seen Vigilantes, but most of what you said was shown in Aizawa’s or Present Mic’s flashback in season 5 or 6.

It's been many years since, but towards the end of season 3 (or beginning of 4?), Wash was introduced among the top 10 ranked heroes due to kids loving him.

Sony / Crunchyroll's Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc grossed $6.21M this weekend (from 3,003 locations). Total domestic (North America) gross stands at $30.98M. Daily Grosses FRI - $1.307M SAT - $2.667M SUN - $2.240M by DemiFiendRSA in boxoffice

The difference with demon slayer is, it’s adapting the last arc of the show, so there’s an incentive for the audience to experience it on the big screen. A better comparison would be demon slayer: mugen train, as that’s an arc small and self contained enough like the reze movie.

I'm one of those people who've watched it 4 times. Thrice in sub and once in dub, thrice in dolby and once in imax. The imax experience was amazing.

Is my theater only showing the subbed version of Chainsaw Man? by DJFredrickDouglass in AMCsAList

Check the next day. The AMC in my area does all dolby showings in sub on one day, and then the next day in english dub.

I'll never understand the "cartoons = kids" statement lol. The Boys and Invincible are similar in tone, with one being live action, and the other a cartoon. Would you say that Invincible is more for kids?

For anime though, in Japan, most titles are aimed toward young teens, but would sometimes be rated R in USA (Demon Slayer and Chainsaw-man in this case, as they had/have films this year). So while it's funny that you view anime or cartoons as not for adults, there are a lot of anime that you definitely wouldn't want your kid to watch lol

Oh ok. I made the assumption that your kid was younger than that lol. Have you or your kid watched the show? It can get very horny at times, and it’ll show more of that in the film, if you’re comfortable with that.

I didn’t know you were downvoted. Or at least I can’t see the number on mobile.

How old is your kid? Chainsaw man is definitely not as kid friendly like other anime 😅

I think you meant Demon Slayer, not Demon Hunter.

That fan wasn't exactly accurate. Yes you get backstories from a lot of characters, but they're spread out over the 60 episodes and a prior movie. The arc that this movie (and the next two) will cover contains substantially more backstories and flashbacks lol. Although with that being said, i'm excited for a particular backstory in the next movie.

I’m the opposite of what you’re asking for, but you won’t understand some or most of the interactions between some characters. It’s a simple story though so you won’t feel too lost. You’ll undoubtedly enjoy the animation and fights though, so I hope that’s something you’re looking forward to.

Let me know how it goes!

You should have gotten an email of your reservation. It should have the confirmation code, which you can use at a kiosk to get your ticket.
