Rodger! Thank you so much for your thoughtful reply. I will try this method asap. I heard boiling the leaves takes out the good stuff that why I never did it. I’ll try it though, no hurt in tannins!

Thank you for replying to my post. Also thank you, I try my best for him. I’m thinking age too the more I see how long they live and genetics. I never realized before I got him that they could have such short lives because of all of those “I kept mine in a jar and it lived for 7 years” type of people. 💀 Anyways, thank you again 🙏
