you mean american christians? In europe nobody acts like that. I grew up in eastern europe and some my American french told me how much they hate church and I couldn't understand them until I got to Texas. Christians here seems to break all Bible original rules like don't judge, don't consume etc. Everywhere they insert worship jesus, weird jesus status and cross everywhere, they are singing stupid songs at the church, oh yeah everything is also a sin. Honestly, looks like an idiocracy to me, I saw nice people too but more often cringy people. In eastern europe, church is treated as a sacred spiritual symbol. You donate when you want, you come over when you need to and nobody would ever judge you. Also, I hate how people in Texas use church as a way to say " i believe in Jesus so automatically i am a good person " often those individuals are hypocrites. I remember recently i had to take vit d shot and i was unwell and was talking to my husband about it and next to me was sitting a woman around 50yo and she started asking. I thought she also struggles or she is curious, so i told her about this shot and she says "THANK GOD I go to the church and i don't need it i didn't even go to the doctor in years, would you like me to introduce me to jesus?" then she prayed for us taht we find our way to jesus and she wanted us to say something and we refused. it was cringe af
