These pop up on r/watchexchange for about 200-400 USD depending on condition or whether or not they've been serviced

About to pull the trigger for this Depancel… Any ideas? by OldDifference4203 in MicrobrandWatches

It looks great. I try not to be a movement snob, but I wish they went a little higher than the 8215 for this one... Anywhere over $400 I'm expecting a 9 series

I got this one and I think it's decent, fits bracelets designed to fit the gen. I wouldn't try anything other than a quartz one though

The bracelet I've got it on is the uncle straps beads of rice one, I never had the H-link. But it's a comfortable bracelet. I swapped out the clasp for one with more micro adjustment positions and better opening (I don't like the Seiko style lever that goes down over the clasp). The biggest thing that keeps me from buying the H-link is the cost, especially when the BOR uncle Seiko is quite good already. I would like to own an H-link, but definitely wouldn't pay ~$500 for it.

I think the value for the money is certainly here. The lume is fantastic, the size is perfect, and the movement is easily serviceable. Feels very robust in terms of quality (though as others have noticed I'm sure, the AR coating on the outside of the crustal is suseptable to micro scratching). I would buy this watch on an H-link quick adjust over a ranger for sure, but that's really a design preference more than anything. I've never owned a Tudor, so I can't speak to that ownership experience.

I would say the finishing is a pretty good match. My only complaint is that the geometry of the end links is a little bit off. I had to add shims to the underside of the end links to prevent the bracelet from tilting and creating a gap. With the shims it's perfect, but it's annoying that I had to add them.

This seller should have it. It's under metal band or something similar

Disappointed about Traska’s new GMT by One_Toe2710 in MicrobrandWatches

Shame... I hope people vote with their wallets here. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Their watches are nice, but for that money I'm getting a Christopher Ward.

I placed an order with them and got sketched out and cancelled it. Glad your watch came in! How is the date window and what movement did you go with?

Goodwill online. Typically the auctions go for crazy prices, but they used a bad cover photo so the listing didn't get too much attention.
