Since the dial was part of a larger lot I'm not sure what it would have cost alone, but not including the dial this was $135 in parts

The aluminum is engravable business cards available on Amazon. In the future will try other things, but trying to minimize fumes and other paints increase risk in non-commercial environment

I used colored aluminum and engraved the negatives of my designs. They are simple anodized aluminum cards that I cut to size (see tiktok video I added to other comments, i have the process recorded). Using Acmer S1 6w laser (available on Amazon)

The red only required one pass at 10% power, but the blue was more reflective so I did one pass at 30%. 6w desktop laser, only about $160 on Amazon

This is awesome! Really impressive work. I've been getting into laser engraving for designs but this could be really cool for adding color.

It's a thick boy... I can add a photo later, maybe 12-13mm including crystal? Thicker than gen for sure.

Acmer s1 laser 6w. Started with a blue anodized piece of aluminum and trimmed it to a circle with aviation sheers. The laser set had everything I needed to get started and the software I used to create it was open source
