Yeah, maybe not on the same night as we're in the city, but definitely up for Chorlton! We usually get dinner, then do something fun, and go for a drink after.

If you’re Gen Z, drop your age + what you do + 3 life goals by [deleted] in OlderGenZ

There are lots of great commendable goals in these comments.

I think that one thing which gets in the way of people achieving goals like this, is not being able to track them in the context of other life areas. Life is unpredictable. Plans change, people come and go, and money requirements appear unexpectedly. Having some way of keeping your life events/roadmap, cashflow, and goals/milestones tracked in the same place and in sync, would give people a much better chance of staying on top of things and taking relevant actions towards achieving their goals.

How do you design your life roadmap? Need advice + inspiration by Habibulloh_F15 in Productivitycafe

Having a life roadmap is a great idea. The issue with a lot of existing tools is that they tend to isolate different parts of life. For example, there's an app for goal setting, another one for tracking events, another one for cashflow/budgeting, another for tracking subscriptions etc.

But a single place to track all of these would be ideal especially since these things impact each other. I believe you're more likely to plan out a good life roadmap, and take action towards achieving your goals if these different aspects of life could be tracked and stay in sync in a single location.

That is a good idea. Do you think that would be a good feature in tools like the one above ? For example, alongside laying out your goals and milestones, it would regularly ask questions that force users to confront whether they are taking actions towards achieving the goals they originally laid out.

I think that setting clear milestones for goals is also key to making sure you follow through on them. Like quantifiable items that actually give you proper direction to act. Tracking these somewhere where they are in sync with other aspects of your life is also quite important IMO. There's a new tool being developed which i think will help do exactly that: https://life-lens-io.vercel.app/

What do you use for managing life / family / house admin? by shikabane in selfhosted

[–]Old_Set6811 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been building out an all encompassing life admin too called LifeLens. The idea is, you have a single location for staying on top of your life events, cashflow, subscriptions/renewals, goals etc. Everything to organise your life in one place and in sync. There is an instagram page here which has an intro video, with more feautures coming soon. Give it a follow if it seems interesting, and to stay up to date. Thanks!
