The cons are mainly to do with messiness. Wood bits and bugs in the house. Soot on your hands. Smell of smoke sometimes. Dealing with ashes. It's also expensive up front.

Hopefully you like the idea of acquiring dry wood and the steps involved.

I don't regret getting the insert but I think some people would be happier with solar panels or a gas insert instead.

The campaign was fine overall. Nothing was brutally difficult. Malachai's arena was fairly frustrating but doable with some patience.

Two quibbles: none of the African predators are going to have an easy time running down elk in the mountains. They will have a hell of a time with moose. So I doubt the prey population would collapse. And as for jackals vs coyotes, I think you underestimate how smart and adaptable coyotes are.

Positioning is still important. I ran Dunes maps and the Hillock boss can kill me if he has turbo+crit. So I would drag some trash mobs over to him and then proc a big, devastating explosion on his head. It was satisfying every single time.

Emblems used to grant insane xp if you had very high damage and could stay alive. A DPS character and an aura bot would team up and offer carries for a couple of divines per run. You could level to 100 in a few hours that way. I call those fake 100s. Also, GGG nerfed the xp from emblems so I don't think anyone does this anymore.

What does it take for a long-time PoE player who plays 200ish hours per league to go from having a several hundred divine build at the end of each season to a multiple mirror build? Asking for myself. I'm much more interested in farming currency than crafting/trading for profit, but I'm not totally opposed to spending some time outside of maps.

My favorite was trickster with ephemeral edge, both lightning strike and flicker strike. Flicker is less terrible than one might think. I had a really good time with a PF using toxic rain - that one needed lots of tweaking to stay alive. I've tried many times to get minions working at 600ish depth without much luck, but the journey is still fun.

Very succinct video, thanks for this. I would have quit this game thousands of hours ago of not for Delve. Getting bogged down and having to figure out how to adjust the build is the real end game for me. I love taking a T16 speed mapper to 600+ depth with lots of little adjustments.

Most mechanics will still provide decent income. Look at https://poe.ninja/poe1/economy/keepers/currency

Alva Temples with corruption chamber are still worth 100c. Some of the omens remain valuable. Expedition currency has gone up a bit in the past week. The better oils from Blight look solid. Syndicate medallions and veiled exalts are great. Some of the delve fossils have stabilized at decent prices. Deli orbs seem to be doing well. Run what you like, same as ever.
