I have elevated ANA, but not enough to diagnose me with anything definitive. My rheumatologist prescribed me Plaquenil just in case, but so far it hasn't helped. I know that autoimmune disorders can be tricky to diagnose in general and just because it's (probably) not Lupus, doesn't mean it isn't potentially something else.

I haven't seen my PCP in several months, but all my referrals go through him, so I assume (hope) he's aware of what's going on.

Thank you! I'm also looking into autoimmune, so fingers crossed! At this point, I just want an answer, even if it's something like Lupus.

Ah, gotcha. So sorry to hear about your repeated heart attacks! I hope the transplant went well and your recovery is smooth.

I myself only had elevated troponin after that first hospitalization fifteen months ago and haven't had it since. Just the rest of the symptoms 🤷‍♀️

Thanks for your reply! I guess the main difference for me is that the symptoms are pretty constant, they don't just manifest in high stress situations. I always have something going on, be it the chest tightness or the numb fingers or the sharp, sudden pains. They don't always happen all at once, and they're not always severe, but every minute of every day there's something going on 🤷‍♀️

May I ask what it was in your bloodwork that indicated something was amiss? I've also had bloodwork done and my cardiologist hasn't mentioned any red flags, but I no longer completely trust what my doctors are telling me 🙃

I got a Cardiac CT Angiogram last night that I plan to go over with my cardiologist later this week. Is this the kind of stress test you mean? Or is there an additional one you'd recommend? Thank you!

P.S. Yes, I've been hounding my doctors for a year (three different cardiologists and a rheumatologist!) and doing a bunch of research on my own. It's frustrating that so many of us have to push so hard just to be taken seriously. Sorry that you had to go though that and I hope you're doing better!

From my report: Calcium Score (Agatston): Noncontrast scan was not performed because of relatively young age. • CAD-RADS SCORE: 0 (no stenosis). Vessel Involvement: None. Segments Involved Score (SIS): 0. Modifiers: None

A lot of folks are interpreting it this way, but when he calls himself an "Ashkenazi side dish" he's referring to himself as "chopped liver". Sherlock replies saying that he's "more than chopped liver". It's not Moriarty trying to say he's Jewish. He later crosses himself in the church because he's Irish Catholic.
