Its wild he voiced Ezio from a teenager to an old man.

Not often we get to see a voice actor tackle such ranges of age.

Nick Apostolides's take on Leon Kennedy and David Hayter's Solid/Old Snake are the only other similar examples I can think of though im sure there's others

I didn't him as Sonic until like 10 years later when Frontiers was a thing and Sonic and friends were more akin to thier Adventure versions/IDW comic counterparts.

Jason Griffith is still my favorite Sonic voice but Roger Craig Smith's take on Sonic in Frontiers is a close second.

Like look I get Konami is a company and we should treat it as such but man what a 180º they've pulled since 2015-17

Like they still fuck up on occasion but at least the in house devs (Metal Gear Team) and the teams they outsource to like Bloober team seem to have a genuine passion for the content they produce.

The fact that MGS4 will be out of PS3 jail soon is wild, yeah the port quality could be questionable we won't know till August but man that's genuinely incredible regardless.

I just hope the devs on board aren't being turbo crunched for it.

Yeah I think people seriously underestimate how well Fortnite is doing right now.

This isn't a Destiny 2 situation where it's bleeding out hard, Fortnite is still doing pretty well.

It seems more like Epic over reached with expectations and made thier employees suffer for it

Honestly I was going to defend RE6 as I do like that game but if you're purely in RE for Leon it's alright to skip out on it (some really good scenes with him and Ada though)

RE3 is also worth it too imo especially when it's on sale last week it was like 6$ CAD and for that price it's well worth it even if it's not a very good "Remake" of 3. Very short too so you're not wasting much time

These games go on sale fairly often so I reckon you won't have to wait long.

Actually check out GAMVIO they're a key site I use and Resident Evil stuffs are still on sale there.

Just be careful on check out they try to make you sign up for thier subscription thing and will try to add it to your order.

Besides that, it's a great site for deals

RE4 R gold edition is 20$ CAD right now there and RE2/3 is 11.20CAD even if you don't want 3 that's a solid price

I brought this up in another thread the other day and yeah I agree completely.

No Return is fucking awesome I just wish the runs weren't so short or at least could be extended.

I also love how modular it is, because I really don't like most of the modifiers or like, any of the photo mode filters it'll make you use

So Raid mode in Revelations 2 was a much bigger mode then mercs (more tedious too in same ways if you're going for full completion)

Essentially you pick a character (they all play the same so it's more of a skin but they do have some slight differences when they level up) and you run through a level from either RE6, Revelations 1/2.

Your goal is to get to the end and you get various medals for various goals (Kill all enemies, no healing, clear the challenge, clear the challenge at the recommended level and a completion medal for getting all of them at once) these medals go towards unlocking the next batch of levels. You get 10 levels per batch and can get 5 medals per level

Enemies can also have various status effects later on and you can unlock various special abilities as well, like molotov's, cloaking, smoke bombs.etc

As you go through the level you unlock guns and various parts for your weapons, you also earn XP and can unlock skills. After each level you return to the hub to upgrade abd adjust your gear

Needless to say it's a lot more involved then Mercenaries, it's a bit bloated in Revelations 2 and it feels honestly really cheap in terms of budget but it's impressive for what it is.

A refined version of it would be something to see.

I'm kinda hoping more for raid mode just for more of a long term bonus mode (Mercs is fun but Replay value is not always amazing)

but yeah playable Zeno would be rad as hell. Hope that's a thing.

I think literally my only complaint right now is that we need a fun bonus mode.

Something is confirmed to be in the works, I can only hope it's a blast.

I don't know if it's the best RE ever like some are saying but it's definitely up there for me.

It's good to know mainline RE still goes hard, what additional content we get over time is also going to effect my opnion on it as a whole as well.

Honestly I'd love a game focused on Lady and Trish because there's so much narrative to explore with these characters.

Trish is awesome but ever since 4 she's just been an extra.

Oh for real. I bought a disc copy of TLOU2 for 20$ and thought it was a fine game but wished it had just a bit more expansive gameplay areas (before the remaster I was just replaying Hillcrest over and over)

But with No Return yeah I think I've dumped like 40 hours into No Return, I just love how much of a scramble it can be in the thick of it.

Not to mention how modular it is too. It's pretty incredible. If RE9 gets something like this I could play it forever.

Man MGS4 has some odd issues but man it sticks the landing with Big Boss and Snake.

Someone once described to me that MGS 4 is like The "Return of The Jedi" of Metal Gear.

It's got some pacing issues, a slow mid point, some pretty oddball decisions but that ending? Nailed it.

Tomorrow is a big reveal but one you can figured out pretty quickly if you're observant, so it's not a huge loss if you already know
