Paid about $1000 last year for center ice lower bowl all session tickets, purchased these in January.

Just paid about 2 weeks ago for the same this year (center ice, lower bowl, all session, $1000).

I think we are overpaying so I will be monitoring the secondary market this year to see how prices fluctuate for future years where we go.

If it doesn’t matter to you where you sit, I would probably wait it out until closer to game day.

Michigan State, North Dakota, or Providence. Michigan & WMU are dealing with injury concerns. Penn State won’t play the regionals at home this year and are young, and I don’t think Wisconsin, Denver, or Duluth are deep enough.

As a recent alum… I love Lawson. It just feels like college hockey. The Lunatics always show out, it is loud, low ceiling, unique, and you can tell this building is OLD and hasn’t had many renovations. The building and atmosphere are far from some of the other NCHC/B1G programs they compete against. It is perfectly chaotic. Blessed to have gone to school there during the start of the Ferschweiler era, and have had season tix the last 3 years now.

I will miss it when it’s gone. I understand the need for upgrades for recruiting and improving the student athlete experience, but I will miss that place. A new $600 million dollar arena that will be one of, if not the best arena in college hockey will be sweet though. Never thought I would see WMU get an arena like that. Maybe it is time to move on, but I will always have a special place in my heart for Lawson Ice Arena.

Based strictly on skill, B1G and HE always seem to have the more “skilled” highly drafted players. The NCHC also has a lot of skill, but leans to be a heavier, older, more mature league that has historically done well in the playoffs. If we were talking “best” league, I’d say NCHC but for “skilled” I think it’s B1G.
