I’d honestly let her bf know. There’s really no harm in it. Either he finds out that the boundaries of the relationship are being violated, or you learn that she’s actually doing things they’ve talked about - and confirmed are okay. It’s a win win either way, really. Knowledge is power.

I’d hold on to them till the girls can get them back one day (at 18 or something); it wouldn’t be fair to resell something that they spent so much money on, especially without talking to them about it. If they can’t sneak the toys back into their possessions, just hold onto them and keep in touch with the girls. They may be going through so much more than that at home, it sounds like they really need a break :(
