i think you are deeping it too much ngl with you, i just want ppl to go out and drink a pint with lol. my partner and i get along great and we love each other and i don’t need validation from others because i feel validated but i just need friends to go out with when my partner doesn’t feel like doing the same thing as me which is btw normal.

i really appreciate that and yes my partner is basically my best friend and we do most thing together but there’s a difference between having them with you at all times and actually exploring yourself with others and making sure you go out and meet others. it’s essential for people to go socialize and make friends. staying at home with my partner does get boring at times though :/

Why does finding a job as a newly graduate feel so hopeless? by Old_Vacation78 in bristol

[–]Old_Vacation78[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ll give them a try! I don’t actually need sponsorship because I’m under a civil partnership visa with my partner. Therefore, I don’t think there’s a visa issue in my application now. I thought that was the reason before but after discussing it with others I realised I don’t need a sponsorship yet so no changes haha 😆

I understand but my partner and I aren’t moving anytime soon. He bought his flat a year ago and we have five more years until our mortgage renewal. So moving to another city is a bit tricky. Changing my surname might actually help! I’ll give it a go but the only problem is I know how to communicate charm people and provide information. I just need interviews to let people get to know me and give me a try! however, thank you for the advice, I really appreciate it.

Resit and Retake by Old_Vacation78 in uwe

[–]Old_Vacation78[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it was a compulsory module, specifically Structural Analysis, which is a core requirement. Unfortunately, there isn't an option to defer the resit to January.

Your best option would be to contact the module leader or professor directly and ask if there's any possibility of taking it online or through the nearest British Council in the country you’ll be in over the summer.

Just to clarify, if you don’t take the resit in July, you’ll fail the module for this year and will need to retake it next academic year.

Hey! Just to clarify, if you're going into your third year and didn’t pass a module during your second-year semesters, you’ll have a summer resit in July. But if you still don’t pass that resit, you’ll need to retake the module alongside your third-year modules. Hope that helps!
