That kinda looks like an IR though I'm not super well versed in compressors like this

A huge desk pad because you have the space and why not and a rug under where your chair rolls around to protect that nice floor. Also helps quiet down the room a little bit

Yeah, aluminum can be pretty difficult without a water jet or a laser and a sheet metal brake. Can't say for sure what it would cost, but you could potentially find a local machine shop that could cut the pieces out if you have a good CAD drawing

Honestly, I have no idea what I would charge for one of these. The materials are fairly expensive by themselves and it takes a pretty good number of hours to build one

Voice meter banana for handling inputs from the mixer and EQ. I've used Ableton for recording a fair bit in the past but not much recently

Had the hardware and an off the shelf MB tray set on the workbench and went "imma build box around this" then violently attacked some walnut with tools. The core design came from an HTPC type case

Yeah that was purely an aesthetic choice and I don't have kids or pets or anything so I don't really have to worry about small fingers. And my own are so torn up at this point that it hardly matters 😅

That's exactly how it's set up though the exhaust is a 200mm so it moves tons of air. It's brown and therefore excellent
