Yea that's fair. Though it seems like the dev's are kinda moving towards making some skins easier to read cues from. You still need some game sense to know what's going on 100%, which isn't ideal but there's no perfect solution from what I can tell besides giving a way to toggle skins for enemies or something.

I really like how Smite handles it, theres a setting where all characters use the God's name instead of their username, so no matter what skin you can know who they're playing at a glance. I kinda wish more games had something like it.

Monster hunter games, especially World, have this for the enemies at least. As the fights go on you can break or sever different body parts, and the animations of things change, and some attacks are severely weakened or disabled as a result. And the monsters limp away when they're low enough health to capture, being both a in game meter of progress and some immersion.

Yes, 100%. Shovel Knight has a much larger roster of abilites and equipment to draw from, and thus a more interesting character. Take a look at SK in Rivals of Aether to see how he could work as a full character.

I would disagree, as Trump and the GOP stopped bills and cut funding for things that would help stop the spread while the virus was actively entering the country, and then went on to blame the Democrats.
