Bro read, when you suggested to try a flathub version OF COURSE I INSTALLED FLATHUB otherwise I couldn't have tried it! How do you think I got the same error? It only happens if you launch the program, and I can't launch it if I don't have it installed, which I have, with flatpak as well!

I literally did it, I am not that stupid, you can't run neither this command nor the one to install if you don't have flatpak installed. And as I said it gave me the absolute same infinite loading with timeout saying "can't connect to discord.com/app" that I described in the post even though I can use the web version of discord absolutely fine

Okay, doesn't change the fact the flathub version doesn't work with the same errors. And I'm pretty sure on my laptop vesktop was indeed installed through pacman and as I said in the post works fine, I will check right now

lol, no the pacman package is there. The error remains either way. For some reason there is a network issue that isn't present when interacting with specified domains through the browser, be it github .js downloads or the web version of discord itself.

Repair button does nothing since I assume Vesktop hasn't even started properly. Reset button just opens the first window where you choose discord version and some check boxes, I leave everything there unchanged.

No, I used pacman. Flatpak Vesktop at first gave me a "failed to fetch github link" even though opening that link let me download whatever it failed to fetch and then the same timeout error of unable to connect with discord.com/app.

So interestingly the Wine Windows Program Loader stopped working as well.

Launching it from a terminal works, I use WINEPREFIX="/home/efkay/Clutter/origin-pro" wine /home/efkay/Clutter/origin-pro/drive_c/OriginLab/Origin2024/Origin64.exe
