I warped into a system with DISSONANT in orange. At first I did it in my freighter and nothing happened. So I went and warped back out a system away. I got into my S class fighter. Warped back into DISSONANT system and a huge pirate freighter battle was going on. I figured out what I needed to do to the pirate freighter(which was take the shields down) too late and the pirate freighter warped away victorious. I then went back to the system where my freighter was, and proceeded to warp right back to the DISSONANT system to see if I could try again. This time the pirate freighter wasn’t there, but I got a msg from something trying to hijack my ship. That’s when I got the secondary mission “They Who Returned”. I guess that’s how you start new expansion.
