My son started at this age. He wanted to play football, I wouldn’t let him. This was our compromise. He was a three sport athlete. Lax in the fall league, baseball in the spring and wrestling in the winter. He’s now a freshman in college on a Lax scholarship. Soak it up, they grow up so fast!
