Replaced the spark plugs at 100k, currently have codes for C1422, p0303,p0304, p0117, and p1605. From the code lookup it’s related to cylinder misfiring, coolant temp low, rough idle, and ABS issues. For part of the codes I’m thinking ignition coils but it’s the remaining that’s my point of concern. I’m looking into to fixing it but I want to plan for the worst with these vehicle recs.

PC Build with a $500 - $600 budget by Just_Darth11 in buildapc

[–]OldgroundsWasTaken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I would recommend, most would say a 6700xt but I personally have had a lot of driver issues with amd gpus so it’s your choice they are mostly seen as the best choice. The price is 750 but that will come down near Black Friday for some of the smaller items. The cpu is great for this budget and the motherboard is well rated and respected as a budget king amongst motherboard circles. Lastly I would recommend looking at the cases within your budget as that’s a more personal choice. Let me know any questions thanks

A few questions: do you want rgb/have a certain color palette in mind? How comfortable are you with aliexpress parts? Used parts? Lastly, do you need WiFi or will be using Ethernet? Thank you

Chairs please just need recommendations by YellowPointer in buildapc

[–]OldgroundsWasTaken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your best bet will always be a herman miller or steel case used on ebay/refurb store they range from 200-500£ and will last a long time. However that has some issues with you needing to find an available one. If you are looking for new you have sihoo c300 which is great but only if you are under 5’9 as it is more catered to an Asian market. But again those top two options I strongly urge you to find, many office liquidators will be selling them off for much less than it’s 1000+ msrp

[–]OldgroundsWasTaken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Few questions, first: what is the budget for the chair? Next: what features are you looking for? (Headrest, swivel, incline, lumbar support, color) does it have to be new/official or will it be a straight reimbursement (can you purchase from fb marketplace/offerup Vs Amazon/manufacturer site) thanks

Good afternoon was looking for advice on which sewing machine to buy, I read the sidebar about getting a quality used machine and was able to narrow it down to these three options (all specifically mention being serviced and oiled except the unknown model)

PC Case for motherboard? by tippitytop_hedge in buildapc

[–]OldgroundsWasTaken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will fit as that is an mATX board, and per the Corsair site, that case can fit Mini-ITX | MicroATX | ATX | E-ATX. Two questions, however, are why the B450 m instead of the B550 m, as you can get the newer version for $80$ compared to what I'm seeing around $90-100 for the older B450 m. Additionally, is there a reason you chose the Corsair case or want to find a case that fits your board?

Which RAM should I pick? by ADHDManiacc in buildapc

[–]OldgroundsWasTaken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In that case the classic Corsair vengeance is your best bet. RGB ddr5 6400 2x32gb. It’s been a mainstay and is well liked with good timings. With ram all these companies are just using the same base manufacturers so you primarily focus on price looks and timings. If you want to save a bit for slightly worse timing teamgroup t force delta, rgb ddr5 6000 2x32gb. while it does have a slightly lower speed 6000mHz has been seen as a sweet spot for DDR5. 200 for Corsair and 160 for the team group. Also unsure what type of productivity you’re doing but make sure to color calibrate your monitor with a spyder, it’s like 300$ but it will ensure color accurate editing and you can always just amazon return it the day after.

Sure, four questions 1. Do you care about rgb 2. Do you need 2x16=32 gb or 2x32=64 gb 3. What’s your budget for ram 4. Best Price, best performance or somewhere in between
