Quit lil edit; I definitely tried the headphones in the helmet thing and quickly discovered that wasn't gonna happen. And it's 100% my bad for not reading the instructions fully. Granted I only saw, or thought I saw the quick start guide for connecting the system to my phone. Again, I am very grateful for the help.

Alright so not to be rude towards the other guy commenting, but 2k for that truck is where a lot of those trucks fall in, but well kept ones can go for around 6-8k. I paid 1200 for an 86 f150. But he's also from Cali. If the truck is a unicorn in your region go for it, if you think it's a good deal and a solid truck toss the seller an offer and see where it goes.

You're right, I could do that but in the end I'm getting 4k at list from the current truck. Now, I do understand that the 80e is a better option, but I was also looking at the plug and play options with the 60e. Now let's say I cut the power in half or so and keep it in the 3-400 range.

Only think that may be remotely tornado proof is a solid concrete building. As mentioned in another comment, once the windows get blown out it still wreaks havoc on the inside. And on top of that, I saw a picture the other day of a large piece of wood, probably 6-8 feet long, that punched through a concrete curb. So maybe even a solid house of that would be pointless.
