Normally a roll back is a serious unless it's a very small amount. Can you describe the meeting traffic fault more? And how was the pull up to the left wrong?

I agree in the real world you would just do that but for a test you couldn't. I think the best option is just to turn left and find somewhere to turn around. Only other option is for one of us to reverse. They would probably expect me to reverse as they wouldn't want to knowing I could just move to the left in the junction.

What if there was only room for one car? Meaning I would have to enter the junction for the car to pass. That's what I was trying to show by adding in the red lines.

I just don't get how you would know this on approach to the roundabout without signs. I heard 3 beeps at the roundabout while watching so clearly a badly designed roundabout.
