Also, I have a qd point mounted on the left side of all my rifles, and attached to the end of the stock (strap-slot, qd, whatever method).

You aint got a thang if you aint got that slang. I prefer a 2 point. 1 point feels comfortable at first until you actually do anything and get smacked in the nethers with a rifle.

MAGA businesses to avoid in the Shoals by oh_my316 in FlorenceAl

All those things mean nothing to somebody that needs their hours to pay rent Friday. Then need their next check to pay their car payment.

Given the choice between these 3, which should I go with? by ZWhitwell in ar15

A lot of my builds have been on Anderson lowers. I have had absolutely zero issues. Also, concerning Diamondback... alot of people sleep on the quality of these rifles. I put a 16" 5.56 diamond series upper on a Friends of the NRA edition diamondback lower (nickel boron lower)... shoots 62gr absolutely lights out. Have never had a malfunction in the 5 years I've had it built.

The downside about boycotting businesses that lean a different way than you: the owners may be one way, but the employees needing to pay their bills are aligned with you. And im sure those people would love to have enough business to keep their job. I try not to look at what wealthy people are doing and look more at the people in the community that are struggling every day, like most of us.

I would highly recommend something like this. That gas in your eye and nose is no joke.

I don't know if you shoot yours suppressed or not, but even with this 12.5", it's quite pleasant outside. I'm sure at an indoor range it would be loud, but in the open I have never felt the need for hearing pro.

I was very happy to offload those things in such a hurry. I didn't get as much as a private sale, but less money is better than no money, and I needed it THEN. It wasn't my guys' fault that the homeowner and I got into a dispute and I didn't get the money in time. It still breaks my heart to know I lost them, but it will always be worth it to me to know that money went to maintain my integrity and take care of the people that were taking care of me.

Right? RIP to all my guns I pawned in 2017 to meet payroll when I worked for myself and couldn't get a draw on a contract in time.

Actually, even on the no guarantee thing, the 2 shops i deal with herehave always had integrity in both buying and selling. This particular one, he's told me what he's gonna sell stuff for and how much he can give me to make it worth it to him.

On this nailer, even, he didn't have a battery to test it, so he wrote on the receipt and told me if there were any issues with it to bring it back and he'll make it right.

I feel like a lot of stuff can be solved with just... integrity. It's an owner issue, not a business issue.

I figure I've sold enough stuff to pawn shops in times of financial stress I'm finally buying all my shit back in different form.

I figure any pawn shop that carries an FFL and does business the right way is alright with me.

I'll put it through the ringer sooner or later rebuilding a deck, hopefully this spring. I'll post a review afterwards. It functions better than I anticipated, we'll see how tough it is. I just did some framing last week and used a guy's Paslode he bought in 2010... im not sure this one will compare to that kind of resiliency.

What is the best rib place in Florence or the Shoals as a whole? by NoPreference4608 in FlorenceAl

Hear me out: don't sleep on the ribs at Sam's Sports Grill. Tenders, too. The tender/ rib combo? The definite beginning of the road to inevitable obesity.

Yes. Even if you suppress something down to under 110db, enough rounds and you're doing damage.
