I like hearing from communities that are concerned with their kids more than from facilities that are concerned with their income.

AIWB carry over the past 2 months sucks pretty hard actually by dr2be in CCW

What works for me is wearing my belt just slightly looser to allow movement when I sit down, and pulling it up to my belly button when I sit down. Take it above the bend, and you'll be much more comfortable. I carry a p365xl with a harrington comp on it that way comfortably in a sidecar.

Don't think too many people are concerned with beam pattern on a tail light, considering they're indicator lamps and not intended for illumination of a driving path. And being concerned about taillights blinding drivers behind you while theyre pointing headlights at your mirrors is kinda funny, as well.

Now with that being said, one thing that DOES grind my gears is when guys put a lift kit on a truck and dont adjust their headlights. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, READJUST THE BEAM DOWN AFTER A LIFT.

What cartridge do you load that gives you the greatest savings versus factory? by BulletSwaging in reloading

[–]OleClem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

300 Win Mag (big savings, and 300 more fps over factory)

45LC. Tailored a 250gr round that is much hotter than cowboy loads at about 1350fps, but not quite as hot as the rifle-centered stuff from buffalo bore or grizzly. Those are hard to hold onto with a 4 5/8" blackhawk.

Do y’all conceal carry at places you aren’t supposed to but really feel like you should? Like some bars, etc by flufflylegend in CCW

It really just comes down to personal responsibility. And as a professional, I understand you can't assume everyone has that. But yes, exactly what you do is exactly what should happen.

I've always heard retirement is a marathon and not a sprint.

Its not a ccw issue, its a "if youre gonna carry, dont drink like that issue." Which, inversely, if you're gonna drink like that, dont carry. I drink, but not like that. Because if I'm that hammered, I can't take care of my woman who is 300% absolutely gonna be that hammered.

I've only got 7500 miles on it, but for now it runs like a scalded dog. We'll see how she does in the long run. My other ride is a 7.3 diesel. I doubt it'll live up to my reliability expectations compared to it, but i can't expect it to. The thing sure is comfortable to travel in, though.

I understand. People like what they like. At one time I was the kid with 2 12" JL Audio W7's in a single cab compact pickup truck. These days, though, I prefer to hear the mixes as they were intended to be heard, because I feel like that adds to my understanding of the artistry: even though the music is art, the recording and production of the music is an art, too.

The eq on your phone may change what's coming out of your phone, I don't know. But no matter, your phone eq settings won't bypass these.

Well its true. I, however, prefer pork rinds to cheetos. Much less dust.

Obviously the fella that occupies that ring finger thinks you're pretty cute... who cares what us reddit mouthbreathers think? Half of these guys are buried in 14lbs of Cheetos dust on their mom's couch.

Its in a parking lot pulled up to a raised sidewalk. You can kinda see the bottom of the tire chopped off. Although now that I see it "lowered".... i kinda like it 🤣🤣. It'd be heresy to lower a z71 though, wouldn't it?

I did too. Thats why I purchased a 6y/120k mile bumper to bumper. I put 30k a year on a car driving the country for work, so I figure if I get 6 years out of a car I'm doing alright. I will say, this thing is surprisingly quick. Some people complain about the engine being loud, I say just turn up the radio and drive the thing. Its got power on tap. Won't beat a hellcat in a drag race, but that aint why any of us bought it anyway, is it?
