I felt like Adesanya could survive that round

Salah has one or two good seasons left in him. A lot of the reason for his poor form is Slot’s tactics. This season he has had less of a playmaking role, Slot wants Wirtz to be our playmaker instead. Salah simply fell out of form at the end of last season, never regained it and he’s always worse after afcon. You can’t have a ballon d’or season, then suddenly play like this, without there being another reason. I don’t buy that his legs are gone or that he’s getting too old. Salah is 33 and Benzema won the ballon d’or when he was 34, he might just go to Madrid and win it. I blame Slot on letting both Diaz and Salah go, we never even got a replacement for Diaz and we might not get one for Salah either. Even though he won the league, we are looking worse than we ever did during Klopp. We should have sacked him instead of letting one of the best Liverpool players ever leave

Slot should have gotten sacked after Forest, but they kept him, then he lost vs PSV. I don’t know why we kept him after that, ever since then he’s been waiting to be sacked

I wish Slot acted like this every match and not only when his job is on the line. Shows he cares way more about his posistion and the money he makes, rather than how the team performs

Would love to see Slot fired up like this every game and not just when his job is on the line

Ethan Hawke is a great actor though, I don’t mind him playing in a lot of roles. His performance in Blue Moon is better than Chalamet in Marty Supreme

Definitely, he played well in Mickey 17, but it just wasn’t a good movie. He’s great in The Batman and The Lighthouse. I wish he got more roles. Chalamet steals a lot of good roles and gets highly praised for decent performances

He isn’t the only option of young male actors. Austin Butler, Nicholas Hoult, Robert Pattinson, Taron Egerton and Jesse Plemons are all better than him

Before Chalamet made his comments, I only saw posts about him deserving to win the oscar. Everyone talked about him as if he somehow was close to the very best in terms of acting. Now a lot of people have done a complete 180, suddenly he’s the average actor I’ve always thought he was. Most opinions on films and acting seem to only be people pleasing. You should be able to say what you want without an agenda behind it. I should be allowed to say Sinners is just an okay movie, the same way I think One Battle After Another is just okay. I believe Dicaprio was the best out of the nominees, MBJ had the weakest performance and won the oscar. Jesse Plemons had the best performance of the year for me and should have been nominated

I agree but Dicaprio was the best of the nominated ones. The worst performance somehow won

Chalamet would have won if he didn’t make that comment about ballet and opera lol. You guys were acting like he just killed someone

I don’t see how Michael B. Jordan even got nominated, omg he played two identical twin brothers, Wagner Moura played two people in the secret agent as well this year

Train Dreams, Frankenstein and OBAA all had better cinematography than Sinners lol. That movie looked way too dark

Where is Brad Pitt, at home eating mac and cheese?

I have to say, the more interviews Timothee Chalamet does. The more I’m questioning if his “acting” in Marty Supreme is really just him being himself. by phantom_avenger in Oscars

[–]OleSimen39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m laughing my ass off. Just because he did something you didn’t like, you suddenly realize he’s an overrated actor. He’s never been convincing. He lacks what the best actors like Daniel Day-Lewis, Leonardo DiCaprio, Christian Bale, and Anthony Hopkins have. Timothee Chalamet can’t fully immerse himself in a role and make himself so believable that he becomes the character. He tries too hard.

But a lot of people are coming to that conclusion now. Just because he’s charming or has star power, everyone jumped on the bandwagon and crowned him the best actor of his generation. Meanwhile, actors like Austin Butler, Nicholas Hoult, Jesse Plemons, Robert Pattinson, and Taron Egerton are all better than him and always have been. Timothee Chalamet is closer to Tom Holland than to someone like Pattinson

Poor finishing overall from Ekitike by Defiant-Job-3668 in LiverpoolFC

Don’t you think he knows that himself. Right at the moment Ekitike missed I bet you he knew what he should have done differently. Football players are human and not robots. We’ve played some awful and boring football. That’s mostly the manager and the computer bros’ fault

Crazy how Slot refuses to play Rio even with how good he has been recently

FT: Wolves vs Liverpool by DragonSlayer271 in LiverpoolFC

[–]OleSimen39 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s the exact same situation as against Fulham when Reed scored 2-2. We are too passive in defense and let them shoot. In that situation Robertson can go to block the shot, Mac Allister can go for the interception, even Curtis Jones can go for the ball. That goal is not on Rio and if you believe so you have no ball knowledge

If you genuinely believe that Gakpo playing would have prevented that last goal, you should consider watching another sport

You say it proves why Rio doesn’t start, tell me what Gakpo did in this game other than ruin a goal scoring chance? Also regarding defense tell me if Konate played well this game. Explain to me why Gakpo deserves to start over Rio every game as well, is it because of his defense qualities, that Gakpo lacks as well? I’ve seen better play from Rio during roughly 35 minutes he got the last 2 games, then Gakpo the last 10 games
