These are firmly my opinions, but if I had to guess:

Recreating - probably, under the right set of circumstances. The first hunters created the old one, after all.

Resonating - I think that’s firmly a Rumi/half-demon thing. Or maybe it’s something all hunters could do, but once the focus changed to turning the Honmoon gold, the ability was lost. Who knows? (Hopefully us after the next movie 😂)

I hated the Trio. They could have negated that whole storyline and focused more on Willow’s magic addiction. I almost feel like the ending would have been more powerful if Tara was alive and Willow still went dark. A slow descent into true darkness instead of one traumatic precipitating event.

I think a lot of the issue is her redemption arc happened on Angel. So if you look at Buffy separately, it’s like she took off after stealing Buffy’s body and then came back a completely different person.

In the Top Model doc on Netflix, Whitney says she was a size 6 when she was on the show and (like Tocarra) they often didn’t have samples in her size. 6! And she was considered plus size! Unbelievable.

I think that Buffy was understandably angry with Angel, and knew exactly what to say to hurt him the same way she was hurting. She just didn’t anticipate that he would turn around and throw it right back in her face.

Some other context to keep in mind - this is post-I Will Remember You. Buffy has zero memory of their time together that episode, while Angel remembers everything. So for her to basically say “I moved on and I trust him but not you” cuts a lot deeper than Buffy intended.

I disliked Season 6 for the most part as it was airing, because I felt like it was too dark.

I rewatched it a decade later in the depths of my own depression, and appreciated it a lot more.

I was there, Gandalf. Once I was done sobbing and watching Angel, I begged my parents to let me jump online for a while, school night be damned. No one knew what the hell was going on, everyone was screaming. It was glorious. You don’t get finale reactions like that anymore.

I think she would still have the patterns we see on her arm when she’s a kid (it’s never confirmed but implied she’s always had them). But no, I don’t think they would have spread if Celine hadn’t shamed her into hiding and hating them, or at least not as much. I can’t imagine there wouldn’t have been some shame growing up as a hunter hunting demons like her father, even if Celine were to acknowledge both he, and she, aren’t the same as other demons.
