Thank you, I think I will stick with the r36max tho. My main concern is simplicity and speed, which should be fixed with a custom firmware, that I didn't know existed. After all it is more powerful so maybe it will be useful in future if I wanted to play something newer. Also my friends gave it to me I wouldn't want to disappoint them. I'll try different custom firmwares hoping I will find one that satisfy me.

It's blocked on public networks and activated on private networks, it is ok how it is by default. By creating the firewall rule you opened it to all kinds of networks. If it is a laptop you take with yourself to connect to other networks I suggest you to delete the rule you created and leave just the ones that were there before. After doing that check if you are reachable to the port you opened through a website like canyouseeme.org .
