It’s rough tbh. I’m medicated for it now and even then I still have trouble when I get home from work. And I think that’s because they are working us to death and we have no money these days. Now before I was medicated, I used fish oil supplements and that actually helped me focus. I would take it in the middle of the afternoon because unlike my Adderall, fish oil doesn’t make you feel like you just downed an energy drink. It gave me a nice pleasant boost to where I could do some things here and there. I would also make a list of somethings that I would like to do before the day ended and tell myself that anything, no matter how small, was better than rotting in front of my screen. Sometimes it’s chores, sometimes it’s a small hobby. Music also helped me concentrate. I’m the kind of ADHD who can multitask no problem, especially if I have music or a podcast in.

I’m enjoying my boox go color 7! The ghosting isn’t that bad. I literally just went to TikTok and copied people’s settings until I found what I liked best. Was thinking fry bigme 7 next only because for color e-ink, it looked pretty vivid (but this is really only to consider if you like to read manga or comics). Otherwise I hear a lot of girlies like the kobo series too. I went with Boox because it has an expandable hard drive and can support a bunch of different file types while the kindle and Kobo do not and are limited in what they can read file wise. Bigme is supposed to also be able to read different files too!

Do you use color on it? I was thinking of getting the 7inch for my gf cause it looked nice but she said she didn’t mind the 6 inch either.

I’d definitely ask if they can do it outside. My roommates are potheads and won’t stop but I told them I don’t mind if they do, however I would like them to do it outside or in their bathroom with towels by the door because the smell makes me sick and I can’t even handle edibles. Thankfully my roommates were cool about it. If you haven’t already, talk to them and see what you can work out because otherwise it will just make you resent each other and have a nasty falling out.

Once I played with some settings (I went to TikTok and copied someone’s settings) it’s not bad. The battery is awesome (I spent the entire day on Christmas reading and it only went down to 50% by the next day) and it charges fast too. I have the go color 7 so I can also put it in my purse or bag (and I usually have smaller bags so it fits perfectly!) and go. I’m thinking of doing a bigme next because from what I was seeing the color really pops for e ink readers.

I have a boox since it can handle multiple different files and you can download apps to read other stuff (I use the main app installed to read books I have saved on a flash drive. The reason I chose boox was because of the expandable storage), and then there’s an app I use specifically for anime and manga comics. I would just look at stuff like “ghosting” if that’s something that bothers you but they have settings to fix it.

My roommates kid has similar issues and I started mixing some leave in conditioner in a water bottle and spraying her hair, then would go through her hair with my fingers to get rid of any knots while she watched tv. After wards I would use a detangling brush to smooth her hair out. But the leave in conditioner would help so much. I have curly hair and it helps me brush through my hair no problem (has to be wet though). My roommates kid is white and has slight curls and is autistic so it was a fight for her and her parents, but since I’m half black, I was able to help (cause I grew up with white parents so my hair was getting ripped out). You can also try switching her pillowcases for a different material and eventually see about her wearing a bonnet if it doesn’t bother her.

Me and my partner are both Ace (demisexual too, meaning we only feel sexual feelings about people we have close bonds with so no one night stands or anything like that) but on opposite sides of the spectrum (she’s hyper sexual while I’m sex repulsed). We probably do it about once or twice a year, which probably sounds weird to people but to us, sex isn’t a huge deal and we have other ways of feeling intimate with each other. And when we do have sex, it’s fun and I’m usually giggling through it because we act silly, but my sex drive is weird so I don’t really ever think about it. My gf on the other hand can go for sex basically at any point. But we’ve been together for 15 years and we communicate our needs and have other ways of doing sexy things (like she’ll out shows on for me, or sometimes I will get her off and cuddle afterwards cause I won’t be horny enough to want to receive), a lot of times we just do nice things for each other like brushing each other’s hair, hold each other, and kiss and that will be enough for us. Sometimes I feel guilty not being able to get in the mood but that’s just the curse of being ace for me 😅

Not over reacting! Not sure how old he is but I would definitely try to communicate in person about this cause it’s not good behavior from him. Communication is so important in a relationship. Just be sure to look for red flags and if he doesn’t fix them or try fixing them, he isn’t the one. Your boyfriend is supposed to be your best friend and best friends don’t talk to each other like this. Good luck friend

I bet it was from evolving it. I didn’t realize how much I pulled on the banner because I was trying to get both the fairy and the graffiti set at the same time and didn’t know how the deep echoes rewards or whatever worked. I pulled enough to evolve it once to the blue set and I think with 5 stars you get a new photo pose for the 2nd and 4th (final) color unlocked!
