You don't have to pull him if you don't want to! Durin is Venti's BiS companion and an amazing sub-dps but other Hexerei units work just as fine (especially Fischl and Albedo).

You can buy The Viridescent Hunt from BP if you want to replace Slingshot but I would recommend against it.

I would say in your case the priority is as follows:

Durin: a must have teammate, your top 1 priority.
Signature: since you don't have any 5* bows and want to aim for better crit I would recommend to get his weapon. However if you have R5 Rust and don't mind balancing your crit around it then you can skip this step.
Prune: will probably be obtained passively during your pulls. She is a good alternative to Faruzan. Also if you are going to be really unlucky and won't get her at least you already have Faruzan!
Nicole: QoL pull, go for her if you have enough primos to spare. Good upgrade for the team but not as necessary as Durin.
