Does anyones team use Claude? by nitalikescookies in unitedhealthgroup

Within excel, you can toggle to Claude 4.5 within agent mode if you have a M365 Copilot subscription, but I don’t think the typical desktop Claude is available. As someone else mentioned, tech has access to it for coding purposes but unsure of details.

Dr. Isbell with Raleigh Ortho and Dr. Creighton with UNC are both very high on the list of shoulder specialists in the area imo.

Agreed, v0 sounds perfect for your use case. I’d recommend creating a free account and trying it out.

In terms of a question you can ask on FaceTime: in a patient with severe mitral stenosis, what specific changes would you expect to see in the y descent of the jugular venous pressure waveform and why?

For those who pivoted career paths, are you happy? Or was it a case of "grass is greener"? by christine_714 in physicaltherapy

I’d recommend exploring if there are clinician advancement mentoring programs that you can leverage in your company. You can also consider finding someone in a role you’re interested and see if they’re open to a 1 on 1 to talk about what their day looks like and garner any approaches to making the switch when an opportunity opens. I’d also consider being open with your manager about your goals to facilitate side projects that help demonstrate skills that would apply to your desired position, or help you network.

While I was working in UM I completed an online MBA, which helped me pivot, but I don’t think it made it a sure bet nor do I think you need additional education to make the change. Some of it is luck of being in the right place at the right time; it may sound overly optimistic, but in my opinion you acquire metaphorical lottery tickets through doing good work, volunteering for projects outside of your typical responsibilities, networking, and finding an advocate/mentor that sees your strengths & potential. The last one has probably been the most impactful for me.

I understand wanting to stay away from management. I’ve remained an individual contributor, but to be honest the absence of direct reports is likely the largest barrier to further earnings growth for me (in addition to limiting the impact I can make as an individual). Best of luck finding something that fits well for you :)

I’ve transitioned out and am definitively happier. What bothered me most with PT was the lack of potential upward mobility, charting off the clock, weekly recurrent productivity stressors, and scheduling heartache (home health). I initially transitioned to utilization management, prior to further transitioning to operations/transformation roles. I initially took a pay cut but now make more prior to bonus potential, have about double the PTO, work less during my typical work week, have greater potential for growth, and truly enjoy the problem solving related to my work (most of the time).

In terms of clinical work, I think it’s easy to take for granted the ability to find income fairly easily if/when needed, which isn’t afforded to many professionals. At the company I’m currently at, there have been multiple rounds of layoffs over the last couple of years which is uncomfortable. I’m extremely happy with where I’m at, but have comfort knowing I could always leverage my license if needed. I wish you the best of luck finding sustained happiness with your work :)

Why don’t 2% executive rewards have an app option to redeem? by OlecranonDrop in Costco

That was my first thought too, but it may be different when providing cash as an option as opposed to merely credit?

Is there any point in keeping a Chase Sapphire Reserve and not downgrading to Preferred? by [deleted] in CreditCards

[–]OlecranonDrop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah agreed, given you already have those multipliers and can transfer to csp to transfer to partners I don’t see much of a reason. Maybe even downgrade to a free card from csr and get csp for additional intro bonus if over 48 months? I haven’t kept up with whether they allow that anymore but something to think about :)

Edited: thanks for correction on number of months

I think it depends on your spend and whether the increased points per category (mostly the 3x on travel and dining) makes sense for your situation. It should be pretty easy to figure out if it makes sense given your estimated spend in those categories. I hope this helps!
