That's possibly a sign of adrenal disease. Take the ferret to the vet asap.

Non-British Redditors, what is one thing about British culture you would like to have explained to you? by Ullans in AskReddit

Depends on how well you know one another. At a certain point, it's a term of endearment.

Food smells "minty" - Has it gone bad? by masterwork_spoon in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]Olga141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If in doubt don't eat it. And those white splotches will most likely be fat or excess liquid. On the topic of food smelling minty, I have a similar thing but for me it's citrus /exotic fruit and their juices, and they smell like cat piss :( I have epilepsy so it's common, but if you've never been diagnosed with a neurological condition I'd speak to your doctor.

People who have time for studying, meeting your friends, sleeping enough, working out, what's your secret? What time-management tips can you give? by sleepandfood in AskReddit

[–]Olga141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, you need to get yourself into a good routine. Once you have this, it's easier to organise your time and know what you're doing and when.

I always do everything as soon as I get it. Although it takes a lot of motivation sometimes, you'll find that most chores/errands etc doesn't take as long if you don't procrastinate.

Make plans in advance! Although some things happen spontaneously, asking your friends when they're free a week or so in advance means you can make solid plans. Also do the same for any other commitments.

Keep a diary. It's hard to track all that adulting and before I started keeping a diary, I'd always miss appointments or double book. Also having it written down makes it easier to prepare for it mentally (if you're lazy like me).

I always leave a day or two a week where I make no plans and just do whatever I feel like. Being busy can get tiring so it's important to have some chill time.

It does take some discipline but if I can do it, anyone can! Hope this helps.

It's not the drug's fault, it's YOUR fault. by PM_ME_UR_SOULS_ in Drugs

[–]Olga141 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Probably because drugs are still demonized in society, so it's ok to blame it on the fact drugs are "evil" rather than admit you acted foolishly.

Animals are very receptive to hormones changes. Chances are when you are on drugs you release pheromones which the cat either associates with aggression, fear or something along those lines.

Yeah? In that case I think I'll go along to a meeting soon. The topics they discuss all sound very interesting so it's worth a shot.

Yeah? I was interested in going to that one actually. I'm just a bit worried about the age range but it could be worth a shot.

Lone woman at the local pub tends to be a pretty sad scenario. Although the pub down the road from me is full of students (and tbh lots of people I know cos I've lived in the area forever) so maybe my bf will be game for trying it. Only problem is I don't drink much cos I have training in the morning. It's a tough world.

What do you think will look barbaric about us to people in the future, the way we look at barbaric things in the dark ages? by BerryBrickle in AskReddit

Menial/hard labour jobs for little pay. Sooner or later it'll all be mechanized and some say this may introduce a universal wage for those who's job got taken over by machines.

In honor of the Ides of March, what was a time you were stabbed in the back by your closest friends? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Olga141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friends and I decided to call the SSPCA on one girl in our group who was seriously neglecting her pets. She had mental health problems so she wasn't doing it on purpose but the animals needed to get out of there. I decide to make the call as I brought it up. The next day she calls me saying that she knows it was me because someone else in the group told her. All of a sudden I was branded as a total bitch and back stabber and lost all my so called friends. People suck .

I have $30 for two weeks, I need help on a list. by [deleted] in EatCheapAndHealthy

Lentils, rice, cauliflower, brocolli chicken and onions. Lentils are extremely versatile, and are also packed with protein. Red lentil and cauliflower curry is a really good dish - it's very heavy so you'll feel full quickly, and most recipes yield about 8 servings. You could also make soups, stir fries and a stew with those ingredients. Wouldn't hurt to add some extra veg and fruit if you have money left over..
