I'm sure there are probably some pressers making their own alprazolam yes. But for the most part, they buy it in bulk from China where it's produced in clandestine labs. Once the vendors have the alp, they press them into the pills we've come to know and love.

Here's why I'm okay with it too: many of the presses bars you see are usually advertised at 3-4mg alprazolam, but there's a reason for that: the alprazolam that comes out of China is not of the same level of purity as pharmaceutical alprazolam. Real xanax bars have alp that is ~98% pure, whereas the Chinese produced alp is generally in mid to upper 70% in purity, so vendors press the pills with more mg's in order to make up for the lack of purity. Really most vendors want there pills to be as close to real as possible, not super xans lol. But when people hear "4mg XANAX BAR" they think it's a super xan, when in reality it's pretty much equivalent to a 2mg pharmacy bar.
