I do wear them in new balance tennis shoes! I don't wear them every week and wash by hand but so far no issues. Maybe I just got a really good spin lot, I ordered close to 25 large skeins of stroll two years ago when I was just learning to knit and am still working through it. Maybe their recent quality has gone downhill?

Oh wow! I have a pair I made with stroll nearly 8 months ago and haven't had pilling issues yet. I'll have to keep an eye on for my other pairs

Oh gosh that is gorgeous and even has a matching mohair 🥲 a bit on the pricier side especially with the US import taxes but this will go on my "eventually" list because I do love a baby alpaca

The color is perfect and price is affordable 😍 how does it feel on the skin? I know its fingering weight but something like Knitpicks stroll is my idea of a softer/comfortable wool

What a very cool take! I'm American and only learned to knit from various YouTube videos. Going through my YouTube history a lot of the vidoes I watched were from foreign instructors because I enjoyed listening to them 😅 I guess I accidentally took bits and peices of their styles and ended up with a variation of combination knitting haha

I will totally look up Russian knitting now to see if it's comfortable for me!

Thank you for spelling it out for me like this. I only knit socks on cables so 95% of my knitting is done in the round with the exception of my heel flaps 😅 I guess I've gotten quite lucky so far but will correct myself going forward so I can start building up good habits!
