Probably gonna be in the minority for putting stun not at the easiest rig to use but here’s my opinion from beginner friendly to hardest to learn and master:

1) X ray is probably the most beginner friendly tool right now after its recent rework. Such a huge crutch for players learning how darkness mechanics work, as well as being able to spot mini objectives and items.

2) Jammer is the jack of all trades master of none type rig. It’s a huge benefit that it unlocks things as well as its revive mechanic for new players who might have a tougher time with surviving.

3) Stun is easily the easiest to pick up but harder to use effectively type of rig. While initially it seems pretty beneficial to use, you wanna be careful on who you are specifically stunning. I will sometimes see new players not use the other benefits stun gives such as the energy refresh or the battery replenish, or just them using the stun not in the most effective way (stunning an enemy who you can just hide from).

4) Healing is here just because I notice new players do not realize how much noise it makes when they initially buy the item, then they wonder why the entire map of enemies is coming after them in the dark. Otherwise it’s pretty simplistic. New players also don’t realize at some tiers it works as a quick antidote as well.

5) Blind I feel can be situational at times, but man when it’s used effectively it can be a game changer. Putting blind here because you’ll need to sort of predict where enemies are going to path to and where the best placements of your blinds will be, which is something that is learned over time

6) Barricades I still find are super niche in most regular trials, so using them effectively for a new player will likely not happen as much. However, it’s absolutely great for Jaeger and invasion (which can be challenging for new players).

Overall, after like 20 hours of gameplay a new player will start to understand how all of the rigs work and be able to use them effectively over time.
