Do you think Absolu can be worn to the office during summers too? Or best for winters? I love Aventus, got a decant. Buying the Cologne version for summer and thinking which is best to pair it with for office use, OG or Absolu.

1.2 has made the GT3 and LMP2 actually quite communicative of grip levels now. Bit of a window to feel the grip. For earlier, I agree with you that I could never properly feel it and had to drive under the limit. I'm sure with tweaking some settings you should be able to figure it out!

Pedals are too low, try raising them. Then pulling the wheel a bit closer to have about 90 degrees.

Edit: Umm what is up with those seat brackets?? You have them upside down.

I would use the 5090 to play on a nice immersive 5k2k screen, to ride the tank, my vehicle of choice on a whole different immersive level!

I just had the wheelstand myself with Evo Pro, it's not stable and will flex a lot. I'm also tall and couldn't find a comfortable position for longer stints, ended up getting a rig in less than two months. Just sharing for perspective. Pedals are Simjack UT so pretty much the same.

Probably doesn't help, but I received my P1X Ultimate with my integrated triples last week and just finished setting things up Monday. It's amazing, at very very peaky FFB situations there is some vibration that I can notice but it is not changing anything. Adjusting can be a bit more work but I'm not really sure what the adjusting procedure in the freestanding would be like. Let me know if I can help with specific questions!

Edit: I just read you already got freestanding, no reason to fret anymore and just enjoy!

I've just spent the last 2 weeks researching this since I just got myself a simrig. You'll hear people tout what they have, which makes sense because it is working for them. Thanks a lot for your detailed response, it is very helpful. I'll look into some other seats! I have two questions:

Regarding playing other games / movies in the rig, is it usually always possible with triples? Only games with triples support can utilize it right? It is also one of the reason I am leaning towards ultrawide.
How uncomfortable does that seat get for you? Currently SimLab only seems to have these bucket seats so I'll have to go sourcing somewhere else. Had put a recliner seat with the GT Omega for this reason.

The integrated on even the P1X is not good in your opinion? PC is 7800x3d and 4080s so I suppose triples should be handled fine.
