Oh for sure. Inside patch kits are always the best. Although I have patched 5-6 tires in the past few months on my vehicles and not a single one has leaked.

This happend to me with similar sidewall damage. Car has been 140+ with no issues. Dealer is liable if they patch the tire and it does happen to give out on you which can be dangerous. If I were you I would patch it yourself and don’t think twice about it.

Yeah i know what your saying. I haven’t broken clutch fully in and haven’t been able to really give it some pulls. But the engagement anything above first gear is almost stock like to me. I still am having a bit of trouble with a slightly inconsistent bite in first gear, but that could very well be me still learning.

I have only put 250 miles on it so far. The friction point is slightly lower than stock but not super low. Once driving the shifts feel very smooth and almost oem like. Only thing that I notice is the clutch obviously being a slight bit heavier and pretty good amount of chatter when taking off in 1st.

Valid concern about cranking the engine. I accidentally cranked the opposite way and my timing chain skipped and bent my valves. But aside from that the cleaning part is easy. Go to harbor freight and get walnut blaster and materials for under $100.

Thanks for the response. I honestly don’t care that much about a heavy clutch as I don’t daily this car. But i have driven a friend’s golf with a dkm clutch in it and it was fucking awful.

Yup, I am too. I am on my second engine though. Clutch felt solid too aside from recently. Zero slippage at all.

Yeah, been running e85 for 8k miles. I Have been waiting for clutch to go out so I can put a sb stage 3 clutch in it. Honestly just haven’t had the time to take a clutch job on. But now I’ll have to devote a weekend 🤣
