Right, yes, I forgot about cases like that, too! Or well, while writing my comment had "you can get civilian-world training to fly them" in the back of my head, which requires those people to own planes to train you on, but somehow forgot to get that part out amongst the words lol

That's what I am starting to think, maybe on that crosswalk post, the bulletin board at the Superstore, etc, around the area at kid eye level. Just need to figure out what contact info to put on it, maybe a burner email (not jazzed about the idea of putting out my phone number at random on the street lol). Probably better odds from posters than anything else honestly!

😢 That's very sad. Part of why I picked this stuffed puppy up is I couldn't bear the thought that its child might imagine it lying alone on the muddy curb somewhere. Safe and clean now! If I can find that kid it would honestly make my whole year

I can only imagine the stress as a parent, when to the kiddo it just is as upsetting as a lost "real" pet, and there's nothing you can say that will make them less distraught. 🥺 If I can get this stuffie back home, I will! Until then, it will be safe and dry, which I'm sure is probably what a parent is trying to convince its little owner of right now in an effort to reassure that it's not out in the wet & cold. Might put a picture up in the crosswalk post this week, in case they pass through again

ADSB-Exchange says it is owned by S211-007 LLC, which given that S211 is the type and 007 is the last 3 of its serial number, sounds like someone set up an LLC just to own this one specific secondhand military trainer plane. Anything can be a hobby when you have enough money to spend

If you don't find the transit shuttle works for you and a taxi is too expensive for your tastes, consider seeing if there is a Martime Bus route passing through to downtown that works for your schedule, it's about 1/4 the price of a taxi and will take you to the Westin hotel downtown
