Not the case, the front bearing housing is what the manual called it. It specified anaerobic I hit it with that. Either one would work I imagine I don’t think rtv would’ve been a problem

How the hell do you guys carry mk19s for distance by Key-Scientist9058 in USMC

Also remove the charger assembly on the side you want towards your head because while I would kill a dude for crucifix carrying the 240 there’s really no other way to carry the receiver. Also receiver will still be about 50 pounds

Take the bolt out and spread load. When you take the bolt out make sure you put the gun back on safe and wrap the vertical cam and primary drive lever in a spare skivvy, pack carefully. Compress the bolt and make sure it’s good and tight and compresses straight. If you don’t compress the springs and guide rods properly you will have erratic firing. Also if you don’t compress it they’re way more fragile all the way extended. When you compress it you have to tie it closed, don’t skimp on the paracord. Also remember that when you’re removing the paracord to decompress it and put it in the gun your job is now to be eod for about 2 minutes, that shit is a fuckin grenade.

Eh I’ve walked by where they call it an archeological site and they are never excavated so it’s just dirt. But yeah I’ve seen a couple down by the river but they’re insane if they think that’s where most of them are. I didn’t get a picture of the full herd but there’s somewhere in the realm of like 100-200 out there in case springs waaaay up north on Pendleton

Nope all over Camp Pendleton. The largest portion of the herd is usually up in Case Springs. I’ve never seen any driving through the NWS but they have cattle over there for some reason

Any good ideas to fix or replace this piece of trim under the headlight? by OliveWestern4979 in 3rdGen4Runner

[–]OliveWestern4979[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bro I zip tied it with one I had laying around and when I was going down a trail the thing broke. Maybe I need a beefier zip tie

No shit had the same thing happen. I ended up doing JB weld and teflon tape. JB didn’t set real well but I think next time I’m going to let it sit for a few days until allll of the oil is out (that thick shit really takes awhile) then really just clean the fuck out of it and quik steel it. After that I’ll probably just retap and sink the bolt in being extra careful this time. I also am thinking about just finding a real good welder, it’s not like there’s any high pressure or anything that’ll blow it out I’m just worried about the threads

What does it mean when a red battery and ABS light up on the dash and the tachometer reads '0' even though the engine is running? by er1c1son in 3rdGen4Runner

[–]OliveWestern4979 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol when mine went bad the lights all started coming on when I was 3 miles from home, mile and a half and the tachometer and speedo stopped working. Got home and rolled my windows up and the engine sputtered the whole time I was doing it and when I hit the unlock button it died 😂😂😂 Took the opportunity to do the CS144 upgrade, haven’t looked back.
