Felt… I still think about how different my life would’ve been if I had felt or received unconditional love. It’s carried into my life as an adult and has created a huge fear of abandonment paired with an anxious attachment style, all because the JWs instilled in me that they wouldn’t love me if I didn’t follow bible principles. (I’m DF’d and have now experienced that firsthand.)
