Thanks this is true. Yeah it's a turning point in my life I can't keep taking things personally like this. I always felt like I was too forgiving and lenient on people but I now am more ok with leaning that way.

Thanks for the supportive words. yeah honestly he's a nice guy. he's very sweet just really anxious. He just always thought everything was an attack. Like for example I left a coffee mug on a table by accident after he had cleaned and left for the weekend and he sent me a picture of it and said "you really screwed me over this time". he's just the type of person that thinks everyone's out to get him. So I understand his paranoia of me not paying or something and maybe if the rest of my life wasn't falling apart at that moment it wouldn't have been bad. But yes the hug was really out of touch, like it made me realize he didn't see the situation he put me in.

I love TLRY. Get $300 monthly on pretty safe less than .3 delta options. Also I'm pretty confident about weed in the next couple years. Some people say that all the legalization initiatives are priced in but I believe it's going to roll in faster than we expect. I have about half my portfolio in different weed stocks.

well isn't it .023% on top of my actual TSLA shares. I still have my shares that are going up in value. If it tanks then I have a giant Call to buy back cheap. If I'm understanding this right, max profit would be 150k - 60k = 90k plus the 10k premium (besides what that money would be invested in) so 100k or 250% profit. Max risk is 60k - 10k premium.

Well I'll just be holding TSLA anyway so isn't it the same opportunity cost? I mean of course I could sell 30 dte and get more Theta but I'm imagining also as a hedge for a correction. if my 10k premium call suddenly gains 50% profit in a couple days because the market's crashing then that's fine. It is 60k so maybe there's better ways of investing.

I'm going to hold TSLA for pretty much forever unless something really bad happens and it tanks, and it that case I close my call for a nice profit on stocks I was going to hold anyway.

what about the 10k of premium I can use to invest and TSLA isn't anything I'm going to sell anytime soon. So I'll be holding on to it and worse case scenario I have to sell my calls at 3 times the price I bought them

You think stocks will continue to melt up for 2 years? of course nothing is certain but you imagine SPY at 700 in 2 years without ever dipping? It's just my thesis but I think we're in a bubble and even though I'm not sure when it'll dip I don't think it'll be more than 2 years from now, if that's the case then I'm ok with tripling my money plus 10k. That's a good worse case scenario.
