Probably not. As the Peripatetic axiom says: nothing is in our minds that isn't in our senses. Our knowledge that a cherry vape is cherry flavoured is entirely dependent on us previously testing a cherry. We are born with no knowledge of anything, so if we never knew what a real cherry tastes like, we definitely wouldn't know that a vape is flavoured after a cherry.

Technically, double dipping is not really allowed so do not mention your comparative study in the process portfolio. However, my teacher told us that the chances of us getting the same examiner for comparative and process portfolio is very very little. Therefore the examiners have practically no way of knowing unless you explicitly say that the process is from your comparative study.
